Walk Fasting
Back to the Basics of Fat Burning.
Why its important?
Walking is the most natural form of endurance training for humans. Our distant ancestors were 'hunter-gatherers', and walking was the basis for both hunting and gathering. When we walk, we mainly use our slow (type 1) muscle fibers.
The muscle fiber type primarily used in walking potentially has great endurance and can quickly switch to fat burning.
How does it work?
Walk Fasting is a variation of Sport Fasting. With Sport Fasting, participants engage in approximately 30 minutes of intensive cardio training daily, while with Walk Fasting, this is at least 60 minutes of walking at an intensity level that suits you best.
Your metabolism will use your fatcells as fuel to provide you with energy. So you will burn fat and your waist circumference wil drop. This is called the metabolic switch.
